FAQS

HOW DOES MOBILE GROOMING WORK?

We set up an appointment arrival window(it is a 1-2 hour time frame), I let you know when I am on the way and give you an ETA. When I arrive I come to the door and discuss services you would like that day and I take your pup into my van with me. I groom your dog and return them to you at your door when they are finished. At that time, payment is made and an appointment is made for next time anywhere from 2-12 weeks out. (if applicable)

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

It depends on the size of your dog, the service, behavior, and their coat condition. A Chihuahua bath may take 30 minutes, a Shih tzu groom may take an hour, While a Goldendoodle full haircut and bath may take 2-3 hours. Each dog is different and has a different tolerance level. Rushing does not result in a quality groom.

WHY IS MOBILE GROOMING A LITTLE MORE THAN IN-SALON GROOMING?

I offer all-inclusive grooming, which means there are no upgrades or add ons unless it is due to things out of my control, matting/Fleas/Skunking etc. Your dog will get a customized service including things that most salons charge extra for. I also come to your home so there is a higher price range for the traveling cost and it is all about your convenience because it is a luxury service.I bring the salon to you. In addition, salons take in multiple dogs and rotate them throughout the day which means your dog can spend anywhere from 2-7 hours there depending on the salon, their staff, and their schedule for the day. They also have to stop to answer questions/phones/etc. When I come to your home, I am giving your dog one on one attention and they are being worked on the whole time I have them. There are no cages or kennels. It is a faster, one on one service. I also have an overhead cost of Insurance, my vehicle, and equipment maintenance, along with fuel costs. I also prefer to use a quality shampoo and styling products, which cost more. The overhead costs for a mobile business are very high.

DO YOU HAVE A WEIGHT LIMIT?

I am back to accepting new clients larger than 30 lbs that behave on the table and can stand for grooming when needed.

DO YOU DO CATS?

Yes.

WHAT VACCINATIONS DOES MY DOG NEED TO GET GROOMED?

At least two sets of puppy shots, and when they are six months or older, I require the rabies vaccine.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Cash, Check, and most credit cards.

WHO TOOK THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF YOU WORKING IN YOUR VAN?

Haley Collins, she captured some great moments and I look forward to working with her in the future.
